GATE Testing of all 3rd graders
Location: In the classrooms
All 3rd grade students in the NLMU School District are tested to see if they qualify for the Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Program. Students' parents need to sign a permission slip and return it to their teacher or to Ms. Ridgeway, Sanchez GATE Coordinator. Please contact Ms. Ridgeway if you need further information.

5th Grade Riley's Farm Field Trip
Location: Meet at the flag pole by 7:45, bus leaves at 8am.
Riley's Farm is a Revolutionary War experience and is located in Oak Glen, CA about 2hours away from Norwalk. Students need to dress warmly since Oak Glen is in the mountains and can be very cold. Students will be doing a lot of hiking and should wear appropriate shoes. Cost: $14.00. Light lunch is included.
