Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District is leading our community into the future by developing students who are open and curious, and skilled in critical thinking, working in teams, and using new and current technologies.
As a result of the district's initiative, all our second and fourth classes received one to one technology tools. Second grade classrooms received chromebooks and IPads for group instruction. The fourth grade classrooms received an IPad for each student to use individually. Teachers also received additional technology tools and training for effective use of the technology for student learning. Next year, students and teachers in grades third and fifth will be receiving the same technology.
All Sanchez students have access to three computers in their classrooms and two computer labs that have enough computers for all students to use.
